Who We Are

ANDY KERSHAW MCIOB
Founder
Andy Kershaw, our founder, discovered his passion for building as a teenager while working on his family's housing developments. Though his twenties saw him become a professional rugby player for teams like Wasps, Saracens, and London Irish- his property obsession persisted where he managed development projects between training sessions (unknown to the coaches!)
After retiring from rugby, Andy established himself as a successful London property developer before transitioning to client-side project management. His expertise earned him Chartership with the Institute of Building in 2017—a mark of excellence in the industry. Upon being asked to deliver seminars on construction at property conferences, Andy identified a critical industry need: a construction company offering both expertise AND integrity. This realization led to the founding of Lazuli Projects.
Beyond property, Andy is a qualified transformational life coach who facilitates therapeutic men's groups and supports his wife's psychotherapy practice. When not working or helping others, he enjoys cycling adventures with his four children on the Sussex downs.

GEORGE HAMMON MCIOB
Director
George brings over a decade of meticulous expertise to the industry. As Director, he leads our commercial and operational procedures, ensuring efficiency and excellence across the business. Throughout his career, George has delivered exceptional results for prestigious firms including Ellmer’s and Collins Construction, successfully managing complex projects valued up to £25 million across London and the South East.
His project portfolio includes iconic addresses such as the legendary Grosvenor Square in Mayfair, exclusive residential developments at 8 Chesterfield Hill, and Furnival House in Highgate, plus commercial projects like Kings Court in Covent Garden, and Google's innovative London headquarters at Kings Cross.
George is an exceptional leader - delivering on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. His expertise spans the entire project lifecycle—from initial tendering and procurement through to final delivery and post-construction phases.
Beyond construction, George is a family man, spending time with his wife and two sons, enjoys going to the gym (oh and tries to play a bit of golf when he can).

SARAH MANSFIELD-OSBORNE MAAT, AATQB
Accounts Manager
Sarah is a qualified accountant and bookkeeper. She manages the day to day, cheques and balances at Lazuli projects. In her spare time she can be found at her son's sports clubs or chasing her ’spirited' Labrador around the Sussex countryside.
